I’m glad you asked!
The Vault is more than a name—it's a reflection of the safe, protected, and private space we create together. And, as our minds can be vaults for the experiences and stories we've tucked away, therapy offers an opportunity to gently unlock them with compassion and curiosity, gaining insight and discovering new understanding along the way.
And yes—In The Vault hits different. That’s intentional.

I primarily work with individuals navigating their adulting era. This typically includes university students, medical students, varsity athletes, young adults and young professionals who are navigating life transitions, relationships, stress, anxiety, perfectionism, confidence, and the challenges that come with finding your place in the world.
While every person’s journey is unique, my current client population ranges from approximately 17–28 years of age.

Being independent is a strength, and therapy isn't about taking that away. It's about having a dedicated space to gain perspective, better understand yourself, and navigate challenges with support.
You don't have to be in crisis to benefit—therapy can help you build on what's already working while making sense of the things that feel difficult to carry alone.
-
That is a very common place to begin. You do not need to arrive with the perfect words, a clear explanation, or a plan for what to talk about. Part of therapy is creating a space where we can explore together, at your pace, and uncover what matters most.
-
Absolutely not! Art therapy is always your choice and is just one option within our work together. If you're curious about incorporating creativity, it can be a powerful way to explore thoughts and feelings that may be difficult to put into words. No artistic ability or experience is needed—just curiosity.
And don't worry—The Vault is not the Louvre! There's no pressure to create a masterpiece. Sometimes therapy looks like drawing, scribbling, ripping, rearranging, or simply playing with materials while we talk. The value isn't in the finished piece—it’s in the insight, expression, and meaning discovered along the way.
