A few more thoughts about me.
I’m a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Certified Art Therapist. I’ve also picked up a few letters along the way: B.A., B.Ed., M.Ed., and DVATI.
My own life experiences have shaped the way I show up as a therapist. I’ve lived through my own challenges and understand the importance of feeling safe, being understood, and being met with complete compassion and zero judgment.
I bring genuine warmth, humour, and the belief that therapy can hold moments of joy and connection alongside the difficult conversations. You should look forward to our time together—not because the work is always easy, but because it is an opportunity to feel supported, understood, and truly seen.
I am unique in that I am also a certified art therapist without any formal background in art (unless elementary school counts!). I embrace art therapy for its ability to foster insight beyond words. Expressing yourself through art is always your choice, and if you feel drawn to incorporate creativity into our work together, you can do so in a way that is free from judgment, expectations, or focus on artistic skill.
As my practice has developed, I have found meaningful focus in supporting mature adolescents, university students, medical students, varsity athletes, and young professionals through the unique challenges and transitions they face.
If you sense that something within you is ready to be explored, I look forward to welcoming you into The Vault.
